Theme: Bible Engagement

The Bible as the word of God engages us, laying claims upon our imagination, our ministry, and our life. Throughout human history, we have witnessed the superabundance that flows from the transforming power of the word, and, as communicators of God’s message, we recognize our charge to transmit the spiritual wealth which grows out of diligent grappling with the text. This fourth annual Bible conference of NYTS again gathers leading biblical scholars, historians, and practitioners of ministry. They will guide us through creative strategies to engage the Bible in our daily walk with the LORD and in our service for the reign of God, elucidating the impact the word has made on human communities around the world. In full recognition of the urgent call God has placed before us in this modern time when biblical literacy is waning, we want to come together as God’s faithful servants and gain insights on how to follow the word of God for the healing of the nations.
